The BeefAt Alston, we only serve the top 1% of beef on the market. Choose from one of our 35 day dry-aged steaks sourced by John Gilmour, a third generation family butcher from the Scottish Borders. We’re pretty sure they’re the best in Glasgow.
The GinWith over 120 gins on offer, you won’t be short of choice when selecting your tipple. Our expert bartenders will advise on the best tonics and garnishes to ensure your drink is served to perfection.
The HistoryAlston Bar & Beef is located underneath Glasgow Central Station, and is named after the long forgotten main street of Grahamston Village, which was demolished to make way for the station in the mid-1870s.
Glaswegians, are spoilt for choice when it comes to great places to eat and our Tweed Valley beef comes from accredited farms in the Scottish Borders, each renowned for producing quality beef that is full of flavour & tenderness. The beef used by Alston is selected from the top 1% of the Scottish suckler herd.”
